Privacy Policy
We recognize the importance of protecting the personal information you provide at websites owned or controlled by the Walla Walla Valley Association of Realtors® (WWVAR), so we have established the following privacy policy:
Information we collect
WWVAR gathers the following types of information needed to process your transactions, fulfill your requests, and maintain our membership records:

Contact information you provide (for example, your personal and business addresses, phone and fax numbers, firm affiliations and titles).

Tracking information which our Web server automatically recognizes each time you visit one of our sites or communicate with us by email (for example, your domain name, your email address, and what pages you visit).

In the case of mobile applications, we may collect your location data. You can control or limit location data collected through mobile applications by changing your preferences in your device’s location services preferences menu or through your choices regarding the use of Bluetooth and other network interfaces you may use to interact with WWVAR’s mobile applications.

Information you volunteer, via applications or surveys (for example, education, designations, specialties, affiliations with other real estate organizations and general demographic data).
WWVAR uses this information to:

Improve and customize the content and layout of our websites and other communications tools.

Notify you of updates to our websites and tools.

Notify you of upcoming events and programs.

Compile specialty directories, about which you will be made aware.

Track usage of our sites and mobile applications.

Assist local and state Realtor® associations in membership tracking and for their use for purposes similar to those listed above.
Email contact information
WWVAR does not share, sell, or trade member email addresses outside the organization, except that staff and leadership email addresses may be listed on WWVAR’s websites. WWVAR members may additionally choose to publish their own email addresses on public-facing web pages.
WWVAR may use your email address to directly send you information and may provide you with online informational or marketing messages that have been approved by WWVAR, together with other communications to which you have subscribed.
Other forms of contact information
Forms of contact information other than email address (for example, street address) may be listed in the membership directories available on WWVAR’s websites or publications. WWVAR will not share, sell or otherwise provide this contact information about you except for the following purposes:

Exhibitors at Realtor® trade shows for the limited purpose of contacting you one time immediately before and after trade shows, through marketing vehicles approved by WWVAR.

Other vendors for the limited purpose of contacting targeted groups of members, through marketing vehicles approved by WWVAR.

When required by law or valid legal process, or to protect the personal safety of our members or the public.

Some or all of the data collected during promotions or contests on our sites that are sponsored by third parties may be shared with the sponsor for the limited purpose of a one-time marketing follow-up by the sponsor. If information about you will be shared with a sponsor you will be notified prior to your participation in the promotion or contest and you can decide not to participate in the promotion or contest.
Credit information
Credit information that you and credit authorizers provide when you make payments by credit card or electronic check for products, dues or other services via the NAR Electronic Commerce Network will only be used to process the transactions you request. This information will never be sold, shared or provided to other third parties.
Online security
WWVAR follows generally accepted standards to protect the information it collects and makes available via its Web sites. WWVAR tests their security procedures regularly and modifies them as new technologies become feasible.
Opt-Out policy
WWVAR uses a strict Opt-Out policy for sending online notifications regarding services, products and programs. You may adjust your Communication Preferences by reviewing your preferences in the WWVAR members website.
Your contact information
You may edit your personal contact information directly in the WWVAR members website or by contacting the WWVAR office.
Advertising
Some of our websites may contain advertising placed by advertising networks pursuant to agreements between WWVAR and the advertising network. WWVAR does not control these advertising networks, the sites of third parties reached through links on our site, or their information collection practices, and WWVAR will not be responsible for the activities of these third parties. The advertising network uses cookies to collect certain non-personally identifiable information when you click on the banner ads appearing on our sites. This information is collected by the advertising network for purposes of measuring and reporting on the advertising to advertisers and WWVAR. The advertising network may also aggregate the information for certain other statistical and reporting purposes.
Do-Not-Track Disclosure
Some browsers have a “Do Not Track” feature that allows you to communicate to websites that you do not want to have your online activities tracked. At this time our system does not respond to Do Not Track requests or headers from some or all browsers.
